Our Mission
MANDATE OF EMPOWERMENT DEPARTMENT The Empowerment department is one of the most important and operational department with which the ministry is made visible. 1. The department organizes skill acquisitions and vocational development programmes; aimed at making youth and the unemployed acquire practical skills needed to establish and manage their own business. 2. To design and conduct training programmes directed towards equipping River’s youths with basic skills mostly required to gain employment in the oil and gas sectors. 3. To empower our unemployed youths, through employment opportunities and equip them for self – employment through organized skills training programmes. 4. Support Small Businesses: Give financial aids like grant or small loans to individuals and small businesses.
